Seating
A very handsome Louis XV Style Bergere Chair by Trouvailles Inc. Beechwood frame upholstered in ivory damask and pink plaid.
Very good condition.
Measurements:
41" to the top of the back, 20" to the seat, 32.5" in width, and 30" in depth.
Other Furniture
A very handsome brass bound oak campaign chest of particularly fine quality. This piece is lined in green baize, suggesting it was used for the transportation of silver.
The brass plaque on the top is inscribed “F. W. Overton".
Measurements:
27" in width, 18" in depth, 20" in height.

Prints, Paintings & Mirrors
This is a fascinating map of the ancient lands of Gaul as described by the commentaries of Julius Caesar.
This map was created by Nicholas Sanson (1600-1667), who is considered to be the father of modern French cartography. Sanson at one point was a tutor of King Louis XIII.
This map was printed in Paris in 1649 and is in very good condition.
Framed, the map measures 30.5" x 23". The map itself is approximately 23.5" x 16".
Prints, Paintings & Mirrors
A lovely 1851 illustrated map of West Canada (now Southwest Ontario) by John Tallis (1817-1876).
This map features hand-colouring and views of Kingston, Niagara Falls, and a native encampment.
Framed, the map measures 19” x 16”. The map itself is approximately 13.5” x 10.5”.
Very good condition.
